2014 Vendy Awards: And the Winners Are…

Sep 14, 14 2014 Vendy Awards: And the Winners Are…

Governor’s Island, NY — We first brought you coverage of the Vendys from Governor’s Island in 2012, and for the 10th Anniversary, the team at Street Vendor Project found no place more apt to showcase the creativity, love, and passion behind the food of New York City’s top street chefs.

An All-Star roster of celebrity judges included Adam Richman, Alex Guarnaschelli, Florent Morellet, Sarah Simmons, Alicia Quarles, and Citizen Judge Hannah Lyter, hosted by MC Ashok Kondabolu.  The event was sold out (as expected), and with both rain and shine in the air, hungry street-foodies braved the elements to chow down from 25 of the city’s best street food vendors.  Without further adieu, here are your winners.
